Refunds: In-Person Events
Registrants unable to attend an in-person session should notify Easterseals Project Action at least 2 weeks (14 calendar days) prior to the event date in order to receive a full refund. A 75% refund will be issued when notification occurs between 10-13 days prior to the event. A 50% refund will be issued when notification occurs between 5-9 days prior to the event. A 25% refund will be issued if notification occurs up to 4 days prior to the event. If you are unable to attend an event and do not notify Easterseals Project Action in advance, you will be charged the full registration fee.
Refunds: Live Webinars
Registrants unable to attend a live webinar should notify Easterseals Project Action at least 2 business days prior to the webinar date in order to receive a refund, if applicable. If you are unable to attend a webinar and do not notify Easterseals Project Action in advance, you will be charged the registration fee. NOTE: Registrants for the webinar will also have access to the webinar archive at no additional charge.
It is strongly recommended that you test your computer at least the day prior to the webinar to ensure your system is prepared for the webinar. Information on testing your system is included in the webinar connection information email. Easterseals Project Action is happy to assist in troubleshooting this connection information and testing your computer system to ensure a successful webinar connection. Refunds will only be given for reason of technical difficulty if you contact Easterseals Project Action at least the day prior to the webinar and If we are unable to help you get connected.
Refunds: Webinar Archives and Pre-recorded Webinars
Refunds will not be issued for the purchase price of any webinar archive or pre-recorded webinar.
Refunds: Online Courses
Each Easterseals Project Action online course lasts 1-2 calendar months. All courses are self-study with no participation date and time requirements (with the exception that all assignments must be submitted by the end date of the course.) Because of the courses’ flexibility, we do not anticipate conflicts in participants’ availability for the course. Registrants that do find themselves unable to participate in an online course should notify Easterseals Project Action at least 1 calendar week prior to the online course start date for a full refund. If you are unable to participate in an online course and do not notify ESPA Consulting in advance, you will be charged the registration fee.
Refunds: Private, Virtual Workshops
Private, virtual workshops must be cancelled 2 weeks prior to the scheduled workshop date. If the workshop was paid via credit card, full refund will be issued if cancelled 2 weeks or more prior to the scheduled workshop. If the workshop was paid via credit card and the cancellation was not made 2 weeks or more prior to the scheduled workshop, a refund will be issued minus a cancellation fee of $500. If prior payment was not made and the workshop is cancelled with less than 2 weeks remaining before the workshop, a cancellation fee of $500 will be billed to the host agency.
Refunds: Virtual Workshops (general public)
Easterseals Project Action Virtual Workshops are scheduled with a pre-set date and time schedule. Registration deadlines are set 3-5 business days prior to the start of the virtual workshop. Registrants unable to attend a virtual workshop should notify Easterseals Project Action at least 2 weeks (14 calendar days) prior to the event date in order to receive a full refund. A 75% refund will be issued when notification occurs between 10-13 days prior to the event. A 50% refund will be issued when notification occurs between 5-9 days prior to the event. A 25% refund will be issued if notification occurs up to 4 days prior to the virtual workshop.
Refunds: Certification Programs
Connection information for certification programs will be provided within 3-5 business days of the payment of the registration fee. Refunds may be requested up to 2 weeks after connection information is provided AND only if the participant has NOT begun any of the coursework/webinars associated with the certification program. Refunds will not be provided after those 2 weeks nor if the participant had begun any of the coursework associated with the certification program.
Transfers: Certification Programs
Connection information for certification programs will be provided within 3-5 business days of the payment of the registration fee. The transfer of a program from one staff to another may be requested up to 2 weeks after connection information is provided AND only if the original participant has NOT begun any of the coursework/webinars associated with the certification program. There is a $100 transfer fee associated with all transfers.
Event Cancellation Policy
If an Easterseals Project Action training session is cancelled due to low registration or inclement weather, participants will be notified and fees, if applicable, will be refunded.

- Name of person that paid for registration (if differs from participant)
